Terrence Clarke now a top 5 recruit in 2020 class; says BJ Boston was key to his recruitment

When BJ Boston committed to Kentucky, it was the start of what’s shaping up to be a very special 2020 class for the Wildcats.

Getting Boston alone was a heck of a way to start a class, as he’s star in the making who has the potential to be Kentucky’s leading scorer in 2020-21.

Well, maybe not so much now that Kentucky has commitment from 2021 recruit Terrence Clarke, who also just announced he would reclassify into 2020

Speaking of, Clarke is now the fourth-ranked player in 2020 at Rivals and 247 Sports. He was previously ranked second by Rivals and third by 247 in terms of his 2021 ranking.

It’s safe to say a backcourt tandem of Boston/Clarke will be one of the best in all of college basketball.

Turns out, getting Boston was pivotal in ultimately landing Clarke.

After Clarke made his commitment, he told reporters that a key in his recruitment was Kentucky landing Boston.
